How we handle your information.
Everything we collect lives outside the site on secured databases, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and protected by strict authentication.
Where data is stored
Account information, RSVPs, messages you send, and event sign-ups are stored in an encrypted database. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to Dayton Mercy Society (DMS) admins.
What we collect
Only what we need: your name, contact, household details you choose to share, and anything you submit through forms or messages. The age and family info we ask for help us send you relevant programs (like youth events for the right age range), nothing else.
Who can see what
Dayton Mercy Society (DMS) administration and authorized staff can see member records, messages submitted through the site, and event RSVPs. Other members can't see your information. We never sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
Payments
We do not see or store your card number, bank account, or any payment details. Donations go through Zeffy, a donation processor used by thousands of nonprofits. They handle credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers on their own infrastructure. Dayton Mercy Society (DMS) only sees the amount and that the donation completed.
Removing your information
Email admin@daytonmercy.org and we'll remove your records from the database.
